Cameras often feel like magic in my hands; when I look into the camera’s viewfinder it is as if the veil of this world is lifted and I am transported into a liminal realm. This altered state of consciousness allows me to see the utter beauty and essence of what I behold. At times objects come to life and call to me. They appear to be caught in time, frozen, yet I can sense their spirit and animated forms as I look into their depths, and they answer my gaze.
